Speices: Oni (Japanese Ogre)
Talents: Melee weapons, illusions using water, basic water manipulation (and other attributes that apply to ogres like..strength etc.).

<sub>Personality: Unassertive, laid-back(in terms of being forgiving), shy, somewhat avoidant.
Orientation: Unknown ( More like he's never been close enough to anyone to know if he likes them or not, regardless of gender. xD)
Likes: Rain, thunderstorms, cats, reading, fish, cool jazz, bebop, the color magenta.
Dislikes: Hot weather, dogs (and most other animals for that matter), pushy people, when his room is unnecessarily clean, nosy people.
Hobbies:Daydreaming, bird watching, experimenting with herbs to make tea.
Mannerisms: Casual but nervous, not necessarily polite (but not blunt or rude either). Seems to stay a small of an existence as he can be, though he does it subconsciously. When angry( which is very very very rare), he will solve it with no words; most often it results in an iron mace to the face and a few broken bones (but he feels insanely bad about it later).
Peculiarities:
+He secretly goes nuts inside his head when seeing messy hair or a hairstyle he deems particularly unfortunate, and he knows he can't fix it without seeming like a total creeper (and he is pretty sensitive to how others perceive him).
+Has a pretty strong OCD about folding papers. If corners do not match, commence inner freak-out.
+Falls asleep easily if there is background noise; takes almost an hour or two if there is none.
+Somewhat timid and hesitant around people with facial hair for some reason. :I


Strengths: Keeping a cool head if absolutely necessary (though he is usually a total nervous wreck, sometimes something inside of him "clicks" in dire situations), close-range combat, peace keeping ( he hates any kind of conflict, really, whether or not he is at fault.)
Weaknesses: speaking up for himself, magic requiring finesse, long-range combat, a little retarded when it comes to emotions.
Story: Rei, despite being an Ogre, is far from being hard on the eyes. For this he is made fun of by his family and other ogres. He trains hard in melee weaponry and becomes one of the best fighters of his clan, but still he is an outcast, despite the effort of fighting in itself being against his will in the first place. Feeling lost and disenchanted and with his kin unwilling to lend him a hand, he goes off in search of someone, something, that would accept him no matter what his circumstances. And he finds it; Halloween Academy. He hopes to learn to get along with other species and learn to live in a world out of that of the Ogre, to live peacefully without following the stereotypical brutish lives of his race.

Other Info:
Rei is...really quite shy. When spoken to he will respond, but until he feels comfortable around the person his expressions and opinions are usually reserved.
Though he is laid-back on the most part, he has quite a lot of social anxiety so he is often unable to preform well if there are many people around to watch. Once he makes a mistake in front of someone, he will start to panic and things get worse. Thus, his talents seem mediocre and incomplete, though he is ok if he is by himself or with people he knows well.

However harmless he may seem, he harbors a dark secret he refuses to speak of. Probing persistently about it is one of the few things that make him angry in the slightest. One can only assume it has something to do with his family or homeland, as those are two of the only things he will absolutely keep silent about when asked for specifics.</sub>
